Simply Servants

Simply Servants began as Duffy-Koltes Ministries in February 2005. Hope Covenant Church in St. Cloud, Minnesota was the first time that my music and testimony were officially shared in a public setting. The arranged opportunity came through the efforts of Darrell Armbrust, the current president of Watchmen Ministries. WM publishes the "Open Door" newsletter which is sent into jails and prisons. It was through this ministry and my contributions to it that I met Darrell. I now sit on the Board of Directors and serve as outreach chair. My articles, from 2003 to today, can be found in "pdf" format at their website...along with each complete publication.

Simply Servants now has a new guitarist - Geri Conant and her Husband Rob handles the sound for the band. We are delighted that God continues to bring people alongside us to help us and encourage us. Geri is a singer/songwriter and is introducing the band to her music as well as learning ours. She is very excited about the ministry work we do. Rob has done much to improve the quality of our sound and has lots of energy for the details that we creative people overlook at times.

I also want to recognize and thank Jonathan Conant for the fine pictures and layout work on a recent flyer. We are all excited about what God is doing in us and amongst us.

Simply Servants includes all of the people who have come alongside me to help spread the love of God through the gospel message. This is not just a message to talk about, it is one to live and demonstrate, and through donations of money, effort, and time each servant has done just that.

The word of God...put into the hands of hungry, seeking people...changes lives! Through the donations of many, including Crossroads Church, the gift of bibles, prayer, fellowship, and worship goes forth. The prayer needs of the people who attend are taken down on index cards and faithfully prayed over. The money provided through avenues established by God buy gifts such as this excellent study bible which are then given away during ministry events. In addition, we contribute to another fund which sends a hardcover study bible to any prisoner requesting one through Watchmen Ministries. There is a link to Watchmen Ministries website which has every newsletter published since they began. These newsletters are in .pdf format.
